Stuff I Love | Fall

When I first started my blog I had grand visions of posting about wonderful new products and services that I liked.  It would be under the category “stuff I love” and it was going to be cutting edge.  Well, the problem with that is that it’s not really me.  What I actually love are the simpler things in life.  It’s just who I am.  So, here is my first post in my “stuff I love” category and it’s quite simple but it’s honest.

One of the things I love most about New England is the glorious fall days we get.  I don’t know if they seem sweeter because you know a long winter is ahead of you but they are crisp and warm and wonderful all at the same time.  They are also the time when we go apple picking.  This is definitely one of my favorite activities and we tend to get overrun with apples because we like to pick them so much.

So, for now, I’ll leave the groundbreaking announcements to someone else and we’ll enjoy our apple crisp!

Kate, I think you must have picked apples at Windy Hill Orchard in Greenville. Looked soooo familiar as that is where we go with Dylan, our grandson. After many sad losses Jen and Ben are 14 wks along with Dylan’s sibling. Yay! Your boys are beautiful and full of wonder while you catch them unaware. Posing, they’re a bunch of hams 🙂 The shoot of Verilai (sp?) is unbelievable in so many ways. You caught her bro being a perfect, loving guardian of his new sister. Look what you have to look forward to–three times the love and protection! Such precious photos of Verilai and her parents and all her little, and their large, parts that all fit together as one unit. You are a gifted artist at capturing miniscule, yet unforgettable, moments. Thanks for sharing your craft with me. New little one in your lives very soon–can’t wait to hear your good news! Hugs, Linda
