I don’t know how I’ve managed to have such beautiful nieces but I do. Here is little Virelai at 7 months old. She has a smile that lights up the town and her eyes are as blue as can be. We love you little V!!

This must be one of the hardest posts I’ve ever written. How do you begin to thank your mom for being there for you all your life?

For inspiring you. For worrying about you. For loving you no matter what.

For making everything special.

How do you tell her that she means the world to you and you would be lost without her by your side?

Thank you Mom. For everything.

I love you more than I can say.

I simply don’t have the words.

Finley, I love everything about you.

From the way you laugh out loud to the way you softly kiss your sister.

I love that your hands are always covered in marker because you are always drawing pictures. You are one of the most creative people I have ever known. You are truly an artist.

I love that you purposefully mismatch your socks.

I love that you choose to wear jewelry for your pictures and that you chose a giant ring from the prize box at school.

I love that you love Star Wars and rainbows.

I think the freckles on your nose are one of God’s most beautiful creations.

I love that you truly live in the moment and I have so much to learn from you about that.

I love that you NEVER give up.

From the first time I held you in my arms I knew your spirit was bigger than your body.

Happy Birthday to my sweet boy. I look forward to watching you grow another year. You are so special and bring so much joy and laughter to this family.

Wentworth Wedding Anniversary

Today is the one year anniversary of a fantastic couple Amy and Stephen. Their wedding was at the Wentworth By the Sea in New Castle, NH. They had one of those days where just when you think it will never stop raining the clouds part and the sun streams through. This happened at the exact moment that they stepped out of the church! It’s hard to believe that Bea has been with us for four months already. Yet I can barely remember not having her.

I love when babies finally find their feet. She can’t seem to get enough of holding those toes.

She coos and babbles and drools and basically just enjoys life!

New Private Mini Sessions | NH Children’s Photographer

Happy Monday Everyone!

Now that it’s starting to feel like summer I am so pleased to announce my new private mini sessions! I offered a limited number of these last fall and they were such a success that I decided to offer them again through the summer and fall months. A nice blend between full length sessions and mini sessions, these are perfect for your growing children. Designed to allow enough time to walk together, have fun and catch your family as it is today. Just as you are.

Sessions will be scheduled outdoors in and around the Monadnock area. Most sessions will be on weekday evenings to catch that beautiful buttery sunset light and there will be some weekend days available as well. The introductory cost is $99 (prices will be going up to $150 after May 1st so sign up now!) and they are approximately 45 minutes in length. Price includes the session, an online gallery to view the images, and a free 5×7″ print. You may order additional prints, albums, canvases etc.

Here’s how it works:

You decide it’s time for some beautiful new portraits of your children.

You contact me to schedule a time during the summer months for a private mini session.

We decide on a good date and place. Most likely on a weekday evening at an outdoor location in the Monadnock area.

I meet you there and photograph your kids* playing and being themselves for approximately 45 minutes.

You go home happy, having a fun time and knowing that you’ve preserved some great memories of your family.

I post the images onto a password protected gallery on my website.

You have two weeks to choose your prints and products.

Your home is full of beautiful, original artwork with the most amazing subjects you could ask for.

*Due to the nature of these sessions the age limit for children is 6 months and up.
