There is nothing as soft and sweet as the skin on a baby.
There is no better spot to kiss her in.
I could drink in her smell for hours.
I think I will do that today.

Jacob is in my class. He’s my techno-go guy! And who did I spy with my GOOD eye?! I believe it’s my little friend at the pool. Cooper I had a wonderful time on Sunday doing mini sessions at my studio in Peterborough. It was the usual mix of beautiful children, sweet parents, sore knees (mine) and a few temper tantrums (not mine). I am still going through all the images but wanted to share this really sweet shot of this gorgeous little girl. Most of the images from the day were shot on white but I wanted to try out my new background and this little valentine was the perfect subject!

It has been two months since Bea was born. It’s hard to believe that it has been that long and yet I can barely remember what life was like without her. Partly because I’m so sleep deprived that I can’t remember much of anything! Um, was I supposed to call you back? Sorry!
It is amazing to me that in just eight weeks she can go from breathing air for the first time to smiling at us. From not being able to see to cooing at toys. She watches us and makes her sweet little sounds.
The boys are in love with her. We all are.
She’s still so small and delicate. She still scrunches her whole body into a ball when I pick her up. She still has that newborn cry. And yet, she has grown so much. Her personality is emerging every day. Her eyes get brighter and her naps get shorter. She is with me all the time. I have only left her once and that was not easy (but we both survived)!
I love how she is growing but don’t want her to change. She’s perfect just the way she is. Happy 2 month birthday sweet little girl!

I have been busy with the new baby and enjoying my time with my family but I am excited to get back to work too and just in time for some winter studio photos!
I will be hosting a mini session portrait day at my studio in Peterborough on Sunday, January 29th!! These will be on a clean white background set up for some fresh fun shots of your children (ages 6 months and up). Maybe your little one is having a birthday soon?
Images will be ready just in time for a fun Valentine’s surprise! What better gift than some pictures of your special little ones!
